Warm Ale and Mud

I recently posted about the update to Fraulein Pfiezel’s cottage. LINK: This update was required as you may recall, due to me making comments about the cottage but not having modelled it accurately, hence the updates. Now, at the start of the description I mentioned how you can find your way to the cottage via a path that is marked with an abandoned cart. I decided that whilst I wait the last bits I need to finish the farm   (LINK)     I may as well make the cart. So here it is:   In order to secure the services of Fraulein Pfiezel, you look up the relevant payments on the sign, and once you have left the payments you ring the bell and go away. Depending on the instructions noted on said sign, you then return the next day or the day after at the same time as you rang the bell, and your goods will be ready for you. It is a simple system and means the old lady does not have to endure conversation with the villagers.

I painted some ghouls for an upcoming scenario. My initial thought was to paint them pale and pasty, as this seems to make sense in my mind for humans that are not well and shun the sunlight. Then I remembered about Citadel Ghoul Grey so figured they must be grey? But then I read WFB's bestiary and it said they had dark rancid skin, well that is not pale, or grey like ghoul grey...?! In the end I went for this which seems more lore accurate but I am not sure how much I like it? On the plus side these were much quicker to paint than my Stirland lads, so there is that. But then I did use a quicker technique, maybe that is why I am not as pleased with them. I guess it just goes to show that if you want a certain result, there are no shortcuts. 

I posted a while back the cottage I made (LINKY CLICKY) . I also wrote some background for it, in which  I put in a throwaway comment about there being a herb garden. So I recently made said garden, as the lore has to be accurate. As it was an afterthought it is a separate piece but I tried to get it to blend fairly well. But then after that throwaway comment about there being a herb garden, to my vexation I read that I claimed there was a cat living there too. So here is the cat. Coming soon will be the farmhouse I started a while back. It is almost done at last...
