Help Me With My Mappe

I have a favour to ask, to those that have been following my Heiligsheld project I want to get your feedback on my map please.

Not the quality as this is a draft, I just want to check that where I have placed things makes sense with what is already 'official'.

So the setting on my website and posts here on this blog, and the game report.
Hopefully nothing is in a place that contradicts what I have written and hopefully nothing has been missed.

    Upon further reading of what I have 'published' online. I have made some changes, Fraulein Pfiezel's cottage was in entirely the wrong place.

    In my story "Scrotter Brokenstaff" we see Johannes the farmer going from his farm to her cottage via the Toll Booth, as the map stands above this is impossible.

    I have moved the Toll Booth closer to the village and put the cottage past the Toll Booth up near where the Toll booth was originally drawn.
    The toll booth is about a mile out of the village which means the distances described to reach the cottage are now inline with the fluff around the cottage.

    The counts manor may need to be moved closer as noted by a member on the Oldhammer Forum.

    I have also moved the Pertwee farm a bit closer too.

I recently posted about the update to Fraulein Pfiezel’s cottage. LINK: This update was required as you may recall, due to me making comments about the cottage but not having modelled it accurately, hence the updates. Now, at the start of the description I mentioned how you can find your way to the cottage via a path that is marked with an abandoned cart. I decided that whilst I wait the last bits I need to finish the farm   (LINK)     I may as well make the cart. So here it is:   In order to secure the services of Fraulein Pfiezel, you look up the relevant payments on the sign, and once you have left the payments you ring the bell and go away. Depending on the instructions noted on said sign, you then return the next day or the day after at the same time as you rang the bell, and your goods will be ready for you. It is a simple system and means the old lady does not have to endure conversation with the villagers.

Armbrustschutzen - Update

I posted early on about my unit of Armbrustschutzen HERE . Though from my post about my master plans HERE , you will see that the goal is to have 10 not 5 of the chaps. At long last I have finished the final 5: This now means that 3 of my total of 5 units are complete and that 25 of the 47 models needed are painted. Over half way which is great!! Feels like it has taken an age. I suspect my 5 Fleglers will be easy to paint but I am still undecided if they are followers of Morr, Gadd or Taal.  I am leaning toward Morr, but as with the Holzfaller, they will not be part of the garrison. However whilst the Holzfaller are still villagers who just happen to take up arms against attackers, the Fleglers will be passing by around the time of the grand final battle.  Maybe guided by their deity as needed? Anyway, they are done and the spiel is on the website proper as normal.

One Year To The Day

Back on this day in 2024 I decided to pause my 10mm WFB 3rd edition and have a go at 25mm like I played back in the 80's and 90's. Switching from 10mm to 25mm meant starting entirely from scratch. I had big plans at the start, I had intended to have both my small armies painted within a year. That would be about 2 models per week. With even the best will in the world that would have been tricky, some times you just don't feel in the mood, sometimes you want to but are too tired to paint well enough, sometimes you get ill. Looking back it was ambitious, and then I had not factored terrain. I have had to make/buy/collect all the terrain and so on. Trees, hedges, walls, fences, fields, scatter, buildings etc. These all take loads of time, especially as I make much of it myself from scratch. So where am I so far?
