Uli the Dwarf and the Pertwee Farm
Here is Uli the Dwarf who lives and works on the Pertwee Farm:
I had already made the Farmhouse and the Barn but I wanted some way to link them together as a single terrain piece.
I could have taken the buildings off their bases and made a new big one but that seemed like a waste of the work already done and it would mean the buildings could not be used elsewhere.
So I concocted a template that would be the sort of yard and would join up with the two farm buildings.
It is a piece of MDF with some scratch built items.
The gate also opens for added greatness.
Here is a rough photo dump of the beginnings to the end.

Beautifully finished Mike. Superb work
ReplyDeleteThanks dude!!
DeleteGreat Work! I really like the modular feel Mike it give you flexibility of use and also I like how you have done the picket fence!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I just cobbled the fence together, seemed an easy to way to make one?
DeleteI am not wholly sure I will ever use any of the three parts other than as they are here, which would be a shame as it could have looked nicer, but it is easier to store this way at least.
Great job Mike, really enjoying watching this whole project develop.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I think I need to set the farm up and see what extra fields I need, as currently it exists only in my head.
DeleteThat's brilliant. Very well executed.
ReplyDeleteThank you dude. Appreciated.
DeleteGreat idea giving your scenery multiple uses. Having one big piece would be quite limiting.
ReplyDeleteBetter for storage too. :D
DeleteWow, that's impressive! A hell of a job and an awesome result :O
ReplyDeleteThanks dude, I am quite pleased with it. Working on the Inn and stables at the moment...
