The Master Plan - And Where I Am At
I mentioned a few posts ago what my plan is (LINK) and can I stay true to it.
My website HERE has some details around what the units at the garrison will be and there are some notes and background on the units I have completed.
But for the ones yet to be done there is nothing as yet.
So I figured I would show you what they will be.
(Better pictures on my website or previous blog posts)
Here is a shot of the models that will make up the Counts Garrison at Heiligsheld once complete:
ARMBRUSTSCHUTZEN
FLEGLERS
(I am as yet undecided if these are followers or Morr, Taal, or Gadd.)
(I am as yet undecided if these are followers or Morr, Taal, or Gadd.)
The garrison is to be made from old Citadel models only (including some re-done by Foundry) and as it is story and narrative based, no duplicate models either.
(Incase you are wondering why the static grass on the bases does not match the tabletop, this is the grass mat I use for my 10mm WFB which does match), I could not be bothered to get my 25mm WFB tabletop down from the ceiling.
I am going to try and paint some soon, now that I have finished the farmhouse which took a lot of my creative energy up.
But I am a slow painter so it could be a while yet...
Nice looking army, will any heavies such as knights be joining these stout defenders?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment!
ReplyDeleteNo, this is pretty much it.
For the area it covers the garrison is pretty large to be fair.
Having said that, IF I did get anything it would likely be some very light cavalry, pobably some Kreigsritter.
Looking great so far! I'm very excited to see how it progresses! Don't worry about the grass not matching, everyone knows the empire brings their own turf and Stirland-brand mud with them!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha, thank you.
DeleteIt does match on my proper gaming table though!
Not matching, the horror of that notion!
:D
Alas our boiler had broken so we have no heating, no hot water and no showers until it is fixed, so my painting plans have gone out the window for now...
I am living the Old World life for a while!
